Despite this, X is increasing in popularity, though it is debatable if that will sustain. There is also some controversy over the origin of X. Freddie 'Saddam' Maake claims to have invented it, while the Nazareth Baptist Church has claims that X belongs to them and threatened to sue to stop others from using it. Many places have banned X after getting worried about its effect. Somewhat surprisingly, sales of X have increased in recent times, being bolstered by demand from trade unions and protesters around the world.
