A good quiz question is one that gives you clues through which you can figure out the answer, even if you don't know the answer immediately. A trivia question is certainly NOT a good quiz question.

the first Transamerican railroad?
The chinese workers from California and the irish workers from the east coast start building the tracks eastward and westwards respectively and finally meet.
1) the place they met
2) the pic of the event
3) the names of the two trains they rode on.
where's the after party pics?
My guess is that when they were building a railroad from the east coast to the west, Promontory, Utah is where the 2 constructions met in between. The 2 pic is probably the inauguration pic & the Union Pacific No 119 and the Jupiter are the 2 trains which are shown the pic which arrived at that spot traveling towards each other.
Something about the protests of Irish workers on the railway against Chinese labourers who worked longer hours for cheaper rates?
It is indeed the first trans-continental railroad in the USA.
The first picture shows the location where the mid-western and pacific railroads, constructed by Irish and Chinese workers respectively, met for the first time. The second picture shows the ceremony where the first trains on each of them, the Union Pacific No:119 and the Jupiter met.
Congrats Angelus and Nikhil; Thanks Sailesh for playing!
