Question for October 02, 2009

Hakenkreuz (German), fylfot, gammadion (or tetragammadion), tetraskelion (Greek), pinyin (Chinese), sun-wheel, double cross are alternate names (list not exhaustive) of what? The name literally translates to "that which is associated with well-being".

Btw, I don't think Pinyin is an actual word in Chinese, but only a system of romanising chinese characters. Not sure though...

Yes, it is Swastika. Sorry guys, didn't realize until Patel pointed out that Dandekar had already posted a question with Swastika as the answer. Congrats to those who got it right.
