They all pioneered some bowling delivery.

Ellis Achong - Chinaman
Saqlain Mushtaq/Sonny Ramadhin - Doosra
Sarfraz Nawaz - Reverse Swing

There would also be the googly, flipper and one more. Dont remember which bowler is associated with which delivery.

The connection is they are known for inventing different kinds of deliveries....Saqlain/Ramdin for doosra, Sarfraz for reverse swing, Grimmeett for flipper ...others must be a chinaman, googly

Random guess: All these were founders of different bowling techniques (guess based on two sample points, Saqlain-doosra and Sarfraz-reverse swing).

Saqlain came up with the Doosra ans Sarfraz Revese swing. So, I am generalising here to say they have all invented a new kind of delivery...

They all brought some novelty to the game of cricket (I know Saqlain brought in the "doosra")

I think these are all bowlers who developed special deliveries.

Claire Grimmett invented the flipper, Saqlain/Ramadhin the "doosra", Sarfaraz Nawaz was one the first guys to reverse swing. I don't know about the other guys, but I'm guessing the deliveries are probably the googly, chinaman and carom-ball.

Something to do with off spinners in county cricket?

This is a list of bowlers who either invented specific types of deliveries or were the first known proponent of the delivery.

Ellis Achong is associated with the Chinaman, Saqlain Mushtaq and Sonny Ramadhin with the doosra, Clarrie Grimmett with the flipper, Bernard Bosanquet with the googly, Jack Iverson with the carrom ball, and Sarfraz Nawaz with reverse swing.

Congrats to Ankur, Anuj, PS, Rahul, Anshul and Nikhil for the correct answer.
