The first picture is William Dalrymple, second Mughal era art and the third some music inspired from that era again. Connection- medieval north India?

I know the piece is from Harivansh Rai Bachchan's work Madhushala but no clue about the other two.

The connect is Omar Khaiyam's Rubaiyat.
The poem Amitabh is singing is Harivansh Rai Bachchan's Madhushala which was inspired by Rubaiyat.
2 is picture of a Madhushala.
1 is probably the dude who translated Rubaiyat from Persian to English. (Harivansh translated it to Hindi)

The audio is Harivanshrai Bacchan's famous poem "Madhushala"
The second pic is an emperor drinking wine
My guess is that the first pic is some famous winemaker
So the connection is wine/alcohol?

The link is indeed Omar Khayyam's Rubaiyat.
The audio clue has Amitabh Bachchan reciting Madhushala, an inspiration from the originally Persian Rubaiyat. It was penned by his father, Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan. As explained well in Wiki - "The poet tries to explain the complexity of life with his four instruments, which appear in almost every verse: madhu, madira or haala (wine), saaki (server), pyaala (cup or glass) and of course madhusala, madiralaya (pub/bar)."
Saaki, or Saki, is the pseudonym of H.H. Munro, pictured in image 1, who most probably took the name from the Persian canon.
Finally, image 2 is just an cover illustration of one of the publications of Rubaiyat...
Kudos to PS for being spot on...and to most of you for getting very close to the answer.
