Question for December 12-Gaurav Kane

In 1888, Ludwig X also known as the oil king of Baku died of a heart attack. Some European newspapers, however, erroneously reported the death of his brother Alfred X in their newspapers.
Reading his own premature death, Alfred was distressed to find himself condemmed as a munitions
maker, the 'the _______ king', a merchant of death who made a huge fortune by finding new ways to maim and kill. He eventually re wrote his will which led to what?

What happened next? (For bonus points, identify the blanked out word)

Ludwig and Alfred Nobel. The birth of the Nobel prize.

Blanked out word = "the dynamite king".

Is X Nobel? The blank would then be "dynamite" and Alfred Nobel's Will instituted the original Nobel Prizes (not the pretenders like Economics :P )

The will led to the Nobel Prizes.
The blanked out word should be 'dynamite'?

X = Nobel. He re-wrote his will establishing the Nobel prizes. I think the blanked out word is dynamite.

Answer: The changed Will lead to Nobel Prize?
Ludwig Nobel died of heart attack and Alfred Nobel was reported dead erroneously by some European Papers.

"The Dynamite King" as he invented dynamite...
or
"The Bofors King" as he owned Bofors???

It's Alfred Nobel, who's will led to the Nobel prize. The blanked out word is most probably "Dynamite"
