Textured, anyone?

Although X had been known to be used for various purposes in China in the 2nd century BC, the first use of X as Y dates back to the 6th century AD, in early medieval China.

X dare not be used as Y if it had on it the names of sages.

Y now-a-days comes in varieties of thickness, colors and smells.

X and Y, please?

Moderator - feel free to ignore - if I am right today, you guys need to make your questions harder, I am not supposed to know the answers (especially two days in a row), I use your quiz to find out about stuff!

Okay folks thanks all for ur wonderful tries. It is difficult to choose between attempts like cannabis/pain killer, silk/condoms .... :)

The answer is Paper/ Toilet Paper. Narmeen and Dev cracked it!

Narmeen, you must be disappointed, sigh! ;) Two times in a row is great. I may not have done it yet. The idea behind the questions I set is to camouflage what we already know or have most likely come across, used, seen and etc.

Keep visiting the blog and I am sure, given the many contributors, you will stay interested :) and do send in your questions too!

Cheers,
Sanjit
