Question for Aug 20

Visuals 1 to 5 form a list (shown incomplete and unordered). Identify the list.

I partially searched online to get to this answer...

The list is the days of the week.
1. Macys Thanksgiving Parade which happens on a Thursday.
2. The helmet is an Eagles helmet. The clue is Monday night football (the commentary team).
3. Patch Tuesday, when Windows Updates roll out.
4. Saturday, for Saturn which is one of the planets.
5. Sheffield Wednesday is the blanked out bit.

Dude, this was pretty tough. I would be surprised if people figure this out without online help.

Image 1 is a parade - maybe Thanksgiving parade?
Image 2 I think is Monday Night Football
Image 3 is Windows Security patch
Image 4 looks like a planet God
Image 5 is Sheffield Wednesday

I'm guessing you're looking for the list of weekdays?
1 for Thursday (Thanksgiving), 2 for Monday, 3- I don't know, 4 for some other day maybe Tuesday and 5 for Wednesday?

My initial guess was days of the week based on Sheff Wednesday and Saturday (Saturn/Shani). (subsequent googling for MS patches (patch Tuesdays) did confirm it).

Alright! This is super vague reasoning!

All I could figure was
1) Thanksgiving Parade == Thursday
2) Some football stuff == Monday night football, so Monday??
4) Saturn == Saturday

I have no clue about the other pics...
so The list is Days of the Week???

Intriguing!

My guess is something to do with days of the week, especially thursday?

Thanksgiving day parade is on thursday, the planet anthropomorphised is Jupiter (Brihaspati as the face looks Desi), from which Thursday is derived in indo-european traditions, NFL season starts on a thursday night? Not sure about the others. I must say this is a pretty wild guess :P

2. 'Monday' Night Football (The new MNF commentary team for the up coming 2009 season)
3. Patch 'Tuesday' (The day on which Microsoft releases security patches)
4. Shani - The Lord of 'Saturday' (Shani is embodied in the planet Saturn)
5. Sheffield 'Wednesday' FC (Hillsborough Stadium the home of SWFC - famously known for the 1989 disaster involving Liverpool fans)

Full points for those who identified the list on his/her own (irrespective of no of images correctly identified).
