Item # 1 : Beethoven I believe ..
Item # 2 : don't know but looks like Van Gogh
Item # 3 : Paradise lOst by Milton

Connection : Each piece is one of the Most recognized works for the creators which was composed/authored after the creator was disabled .. I mean Beethoven was deaf by the time he did that piece / Milton was blind and so on ..

I guess this is it but cannot be sure because of #2 ..

The movie 'Knowing' is my guess... My very flimsy connect is-1. Beethoven music is played in the movie and 3. its abt the bible and garden of eden..no clue abt the 2nd

Hmm..

1st is Beethoven. I'm not sure what the 2nd painting is or who's drawn it. 3rd is the cover for Paradise Lost??

Not sure I can connect them... My wild guess is Godel-Escher-Bach (the book), since the 1st guy is a music composer, the 2nd a painter and the 3rd, well, I can't connect the 3rd :).

audio1: Beethoven's Fifth
im2: Monet's water lilies
im3: Milton's Paradise Lost

I guess these works were created/completed when their creators had lost the required senses. (Beethoven became deaf, Monet, Milton were blind).

Beethoven's Sym #5, Monet's Waterlillies and Milton's Paradise Lost - the artists' tour de force after loss of key faculties (deafness, cataract, blindness)

Here's a rather extravagant guess :)

These are all beginnings of some sort- the audio that of Beethoven's 5th, Eve in the garden of eden that of genesis and the other one of vegetation in a stagnant pool :P

Answers:
1: Beethoven's 5th symphony.
2: Monet's Water Lilies
3: John Milton's Paradise Lost

the connect is: these were the respective creators' most famous work, which they created after they were disabled.

Beethoven was deaf when he wrote the 5th symphony. Monet suffered from a vision impairment coz of which he could not distinguish colors properly (I put up two pictures of the Water Lilies series, one before and one after this impariment, to serve as clue). And Milton was ofcourse blind, when he wrote (rather dictated) Paradise Lost.

Congrats Prats, Ishani and Tour de Prose (whos this?)!
