Question for August 8th - Kiran Vyakaranam

Since it's a Saturday and it's a sit at home quiz, I'm going to make it a bit long ;)

1)

2)

3)

Connect 1) , 2) and 3) to a famous phrase

* Being technically challenged, I couldn't figure out how to upload mp3 audio, so I just combined them with a random image and uploaded videos instead - the image has nothing to do with the questions, its my guitar amp :p

You will never walk alone - this is Liverpool's anthem (the four pics identify them). The second clip is of pulp fiction, and the dance right after that conversation is set to a song of the same name. No idea how the third clip connects.

I have a guess - "you will never walk alone". It's a liverpool anthem, I don't know how it connects to Pulp Fiction or Killing me softly.

My guess is "Natural born killers".

1st pic is guys from Liverpool's Champions League winning team, who were called the "Natural Born Killers".

2nd dialogue is from the movie "Natural Born Killers".

"Killing me softly" was either in the OST of the movie, or is just a clue about killing and stuff, that you put in to complete the connect.. :)

1. 4 of the Spaniards at Liv FC
2. Pulp Fiction
3. Killing me Softly

Phrase....'Spanish Invasion'.

I am not able to get a good connect with the 2 audio clips.

But why would you put Benitez,Alonso,Garcia and Riera as a clue for Liverpool FC? I guess that question forms the basis of my guess

1) The images are of Rafa benitez, Xabi alonso, Garcia and Nunez - some of the players that Rafa brought in soon after coming to Liverpool. TAfter the CL success, the Liverpool fans made a famous song 'Ra Ra Rafa Benitez' using their names and setting it to the tune of 'La Bamba', the famous Ritchie Valens number. 2) The restaurant scene from Pulp Fiction involving Uma Thurman and John Travolta and their waiter, 'Buddy Holly' (one who's dressed as Buddy Holly, a cameo played by Steve Buscemi)

3) The famous 'Killing me Softly' (performed here by the grammy winning Roberta Flack) was originally written by Lori Leiberman in tribute to Don mcLean after watching a live performance of his.

The phrase that links Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly and Don Mclean is - 'The Day the music died' from 'American Pie' which was made famous by McLean after the February 3, 1959 crash that killed Valens, Holly and the less famous Big Bopper.
