There is a common theme to the images below. Identify the common link ..
{edit} if it's too tough, googling could be an option ..
A good quiz question is one that gives you clues through which you can figure out the answer, even if you don't know the answer immediately. A trivia question is certainly NOT a good quiz question.

Wild Guess...
Is it something to do with new slogans/stadium
1. ESPN is called "Worldwide leader in sports" now and not "total sports network"
2.
3. GEICO changed its slogan from "15 minutes could save you more" to something about the "caveman"
4. I think thats the new Jets Stadium they are going to move into
Hmmm... Is the theme football in general or the jets in specific?
Geico - Geico Sports nite?
Bloomerg / Jets stadium - Michael Bloomberg's announcement of new Jets Stadium
ESPN - NFL in general?
I have a far fetched guess. All logos are acronyms. GEICO - Government "something" insurance company. ESPN - Entertainment and Sports Presentation Network ... no clue about the other 2.
Names as logos. More specifically a certain typeset, color print as logo, rather than have a logo as such. Maybe a newer marketing paradigm.
They all have some adversarial/comptetitive relationship with Murdoch?
All of the organizations were founded (or co-founded)
by Rutgers Alumi.
ESPN : BILL RASMUSSEN .. MBA from RU
Bloomberg : Duncan MacMillan .. Rutgers College '66
GEICO : David Lloyd Kreeger, Class of 1929
NY Jets : Sonny Werblin, Class of 1932
I realized later that it might have been obvious to me being a Rutgers homer :) but not for others .. so credit to all those who tried .. I guess i was too late in adding the google bit ..
