My guess is throwing of the shoe...
Though the guess is entirely based on the incident at the Rede Lecture..
not sure abt the other incidents

The answer to the question is:

Shoes were thrown at these events by protestors. The victims in the four incidents were Wen Jiabao, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, P. Chidambaram and the executives of Fortis, respectively.
